Hi!

In this post I will do some reading tasks in website https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/advanced-c1-reading/cultural-behaviour-business. The text was easy to read, but still some of the questions were hard to answer.

I try to read books in English to train my reading skills. I have read many of Stephen Kings books in English, and in my opinion those are easy to read. I read news often in English and I use my phone and computer in English, so I'm reading little bit English in daily basics.

Thanks for reading :))

HELLO!

In this post I will test my listening skills at website https://www.learnenglishfeelgood.com/listening/index.html. I did tasks 1-6. Those were pretty easy, I did have some grammar mistakes, what I was expecting.

My English listening has been always better that writing skills. I learned listen English before I did know how to write or speak English. So, I have been listening English almost from when I was six years old, because in my primary school was taught English for the first grade.

I remember, when I was maybe 10 years old, I were in Greece with my dad. He talked with people there in English and I did listen next to him, and he did think that I didn't understand anything. But actually, I did understand everything what he was speaking, but I just didn't know how to speak to myself.

Thanks for reading! :)

Hello!

In this post I'm doing some grammar tests in https://www.learnenglishfeelgood.com/esl-english-grammar-exercises.html

I did article or no article 1-4, mixed articles 1-10 and articles: the/a/an 1-3.

Article or no article task was easy, because the test has multiple options where to choose which one is the right answer. Mixed articles also did have these kind of right opinion questions, and those were also pretty easy ones.

Articles: the/a/an tasks were little bit harder, because those didn't have any opinions, so I have to think about it little bit harder, does the sentence include an article or not.

English grammar has always been hard to me. I think it's because I have learned my English trough video games, which rarely have whole sentences. I have been trying to learn how to use grammar correctly when I write in English. I think, that grammar isn't that important when you speak English, because the person you are talking with is going to understand what you are speaking, although the grammar isn't on point.

Thanks for reading!

Hi :)

My name is Fiia. I'm studying business in University of applied sciences in Seinäjoki. I', keeping this blog because of my English course called Professional English. I'm listing here all the tasks I'm doing for that course and telling my feelings about them.

I did vocabulary exercises online in https://www.learnenglishfeelgood.com/vocabulary/index.html

Talking about work 1 was 10/10
Talking about work 2 was 9/10
Talking about work 3 was 10/10

In my opinion all the tasks and the vocabulary in those were pretty easy. It wasn't hard at all to do those tasks.

I also did spots describing people in English 1 & 2, emotions and feelings 1-5 and food/cooking 1-5. All of those was easy as well, because all the vocabulary was so easy and all the words what was in the tasks were that kind that they have been in my vocabulary for a long time. Almost all of these tasks were 9-10/10.
